Experienced Baker / Pastry Chef - French Bakery Une Autre Histoire - La French Bakery is an authentic French bakery located in St. Augustine Beach, Florida . We are looking for an experienced Baker / Pastry Chef to join our production team. We are a French-owned bakery focused on traditional craftsmanship, quality ingredients, and products made entirely from scratch. We use French techniques and many imported French ingredients to create an authentic bakery experience for our customers. Our production includes a wide variety of products such as: Croissants and traditional French viennoiseries Brioche and laminated dough products French pastries and desserts Éclairs and choux pastry Macarons Cookies, brownies, financiers and madeleines Tarts, cakes and seasonal pastries Quiches Sandwich breads and savory products Sandwiches and other café items Everything is made in-house from scratch. We are looking for someone who already has professional experience working in a bakery, pastry shop, restaurant pastry department, or similar production environment . This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate should already understand professional bakery production and be comfortable working independently as part of a small team. What we are looking for Previous professional bakery or pastry experience required Good knowledge of pastry and/or bakery production Experience with viennoiserie and laminated dough is highly appreciated Ability to follow recipes and production procedures accurately Good organization and time-management skills Ability to maintain consistent quality and presentation Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Reliable, punctual and team-oriented Attention to cleanliness and food-safety standards Willingness to learn our French recipes, techniques and production methods What we offer You will work in a real French bakery environment , alongside a French team, producing a large variety of handcrafted products every day.
