Commercial bakery is looking for a dependable Baker / Baker Assistant to join our production team Schedule The regular workweek is Monday through Friday Occasional weekend work may be required based on production needs Full-time and part-time positions are available Training will take place during the morning shift After training, the schedule may include morning shifts, afternoon shifts, or a combination of both as our production schedule expands Applicants should have flexibility to work morning or afternoon hours Overtime may be available during our busy spring and fall/winter seasons Responsibilities include: Greasing and prepare baking pans Bake a variety of bakery items according to recipes and quality standards Packing individual desserts Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures Cleaning and sanitizing bakery, bakery equipment, and bakery utensils Assist with other bakery production tasks as needed

Requirements:

Able to lift 50lb Working around ovens and other heating equipment Constant baking and food prep equipment usage Able to work on your feet all day Prior experience working in a bakery or food service environment is preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong knowledge of food preparation and safety regulations Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality Spanish-speaking applicants are welcome; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
