Are you a talented scratch baker looking to expand your skills? Sunflour Baking Company is looking for you! We are inviting professionals to join our Bake Team in a variety of roles from bread baking, pastry production to various bench work in support of the operation. We are busy and we are fun! We are looking for an experienced Bread Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking a variety of bread doughs from scratch. This is a production-style kitchen, and the candidate must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Mix a variety of bread doughs from scratch Proof, shape, and bake doughs into finished baked products Operate safely in a work environment in regards to food safety and employee safety Take instruction from management as needed Successful candidates will:

• Be experienced, skilled and passionate about Baking and Pastry Arts
• Be able to work well with others under pressure
• Understand and implement kitchen sanitation, safety and cleaning protocols
• Be reliable and consistently show up on time, ready to work

Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Availability between 5:00 am to 4:30 pm, shifts are 8 hours or less Additional qualifications we would like to see:
• Experience with laminated dough
• Experience with natural leavened dough
• Cake decorating skills and creativity
• Familiarity with large-scale production methods and machinery
• Servsafe, HACCP and any other regulatory qualifications
