This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on baker who enjoys recipe development, problem-solving, and working in a professional kitchen. Responsibilities Help develop and launch a new savory baked goods program from the ground up Test, develop, and refine savory recipes Scale recipes accurately for production Assist with food costing and pricing Help establish efficient production methods and kitchen procedures Prepare and bake a variety of savory baked goods Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen Follow all applicable health, sanitation, and food-safety standards Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and contribute ideas to improve the program Be willing to jump in wherever needed and take ownership of tasks Requirements 3+ years of professional kitchen/baking experience Strong baking skills with experience in a professional kitchen Demonstrated savory cooking skills — this is an important part of the position Experience with recipe testing, scaling, and production Good understanding of kitchen operations and common professional kitchen practices Knowledge of health, sanitation, and food-safety standards Valid Food Handler/ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain one Ability to lift and carry 50 lb bags Must be comfortable working early mornings Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong attention to detail and consistency Positive attitude and a go-getter mentality Someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative rather than waiting to be asked The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is hands-on, energetic, creative, and dependable. You should enjoy building something from the ground up, be comfortable testing and adjusting recipes, and understand that successful kitchen work requires both creativity and consistency.
