This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both baking and cake decorating and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced small bakery. Schedule & Pay 10-20 hours per week $20/hour Friday and Saturday morning availability is required and is not flexible Weekday hours offer some flexibility and may include opportunities for additional hours as needed Friday and Saturday are our busiest cake decorating days, so consistent availability both days is essential. Responsibilities Decorate and finish celebration cakes Buttercream piping and decorating Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, and other bakery items Produce our signature cinnamon rolls Assist with kitchen prep and weekend production Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen Work efficiently and independently while maintaining quality and attention to detail Qualifications Previous professional cake decorating experience is required Buttercream decorating experience is required Strong piping and finishing skills Comfortable decorating cakes with minimal training Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Able to work independently in a small bakery environment Comfortable working efficiently during busy production periods Baking experience is strongly preferred We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and genuinely enjoys creating beautiful cakes and baked goods.
