Duties Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters efficiently and safely Decorate cakes and pastries with icing, fondant, or other creative toppings to enhance visual appeal Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards Package baked items securely for display or delivery while ensuring freshness and presentation quality Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, dough preparation, and ingredient assembly Support high-volume production needs during busy periods by managing multiple tasks simultaneously with precision Requirements Proven experience in baking or pastry preparation within a food production or culinary environment Strong knowledge of food handling safety practices and food safety management systems Skilled in cake decorating, dough preparation, and operating various kitchen equipment Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of baked goods Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in product quality Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels Exceptional attention to cleanliness to ensure a safe, sanitary workspace at all times Customer service orientation with the ability to handle feedback professionally Prior experience working in high-volume production settings within the food industry is preferred Knowledge of packaging techniques for baked goods is a plus Join our team as a Baker and bring your culinary passion to life!
