Job Summary:

We are looking for detail-oriented Assistant Bakers to support our team in Shirley with baking, food prep, decoration, and packaging while delivering top-quality products and customer service.

Duties:

Assist with cake decorating, ensuring designs are visually appealing and meet customer specifications. Support food preparation tasks including baking, cooking, and assembling menu items. Help with packaging finished products carefully to maintain freshness and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling procedures. Follow food safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Contribute to food production processes in a fast-paced setting, supporting the team during busy periods. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and assisting with special requests.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food industry roles such as bakery, catering, or restaurant work is preferred. Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and pastry skills is a plus. Basic knife skills and familiarity with baking and food preparation methods. Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
