Job Overview Crave Cookies is looking for a hardworking, customer-friendly, and team-oriented Full-Time Baker to join our Leander team. This is a 36-40-hour-per-week position with a primary focus on morning and daytime shifts. Candidates should have open availability during these hours and be flexible to cover occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed. Responsibilities Prepare, portion, bake, frost, decorate, and package cookies according to Crave recipes, procedures, and quality standards. Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, dough preparation equipment, and decorating tools safely and efficiently. Ensure all products are consistently prepared, presented, and packaged according to Crave standards. Work with bakery staff and management to maintain high standards for product quality, food costs, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and sanitation. Provide friendly and responsive customer service, including taking orders, making recommendations, preparing beverages, and fulfilling in store and online orders(door dash, uber eats) when needed. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, workstations, equipment, customer areas, and storage areas according to assigned cleaning schedules. Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures. Restock ingredients, packaging, and supplies while monitoring inventory levels and notifying management when supplies are needed. Help minimize food waste by following proper recipes, portioning, preparation, and storage procedures. Work independently and with other team members to complete production, fulfill orders, and keep daily operations running smoothly. Be punctual and ready to work for all scheduled shifts and follow store procedures when unable to work a scheduled shift. Follow instructions and assignments provided by the Manager Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and other store duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week, primarily during morning and daytime hours. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Hardworking, customer-friendly, positive, and team-oriented. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume bakery environment. Previous experience in baking, food preparation, restaurant, bakery, or food-service operations is preferred but not required. Ability to follow recipes and preparation procedures accurately and consistently. Food Handler Certification is required or must be obtained after hiring. Basic knowledge of food safety and proper food-handling practices. Ability to safely operate bakery and kitchen equipment; training will be provided as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal bakery duties, including lifting and moving ingredients and supplies.
