Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and pastry tools safely and efficiently Decorate cakes and pastries with creative designs to meet customer specifications or seasonal themes Package baked items carefully for retail display or catering orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation protocols Assist in food preparation tasks like dough preparation, pastry assembly, and ingredient measuring using basic math skills Support high-volume production needs during busy periods while maintaining consistency and attention to detail Skills Extensive experience in food production with a focus on baking and pastry arts Strong cake decorating skills with an eye for detail and presentation Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and dough sheeters Knowledge of food handling safety standards and food safety management practices Ability to follow recipes precisely while adhering to food industry regulations Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or catering events Skilled in packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes with attention to quality control Experience in high-volume baking environments with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Capable of performing basic math calculations for ingredient measurements and portioning Kitchen experience that demonstrates versatility across various culinary tasks including cooking, food preparation, and dough handling Join us if you're eager to bring your baking talents into a lively environment where your culinary creativity makes a real difference!
