In this role, you will be responsible for expertly pressing and finishing garments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality. Duties Operate pressing machines and garment care equipment to achieve crisp, wrinkle-free shirts and garments with precision. Finish garments by inspecting for quality, removing stains, and ensuring all items are presented perfectly before delivery or pickup. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by regularly cleaning equipment, floors, and work surfaces using appropriate cleaning detergents. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of garments, folding, sorting, and preparing items for customer collection or laundry processing. Process cash transactions accurately at the cashier station while providing friendly customer service and answering garment care inquiries. Follow safety protocols related to garment pressing machines, chemical handling, and workspace safety to ensure a secure environment. Requirements Previous experience in a Dry cleaning settings is highly preferred; familiarity with garment finishing or dry cleaning processes is a plus. Knowledge of fabric care techniques and garment pressing methods is essential for delivering high-quality results. Ability to operate pressing machines and garment care equipment, confidently. Manual handling skills including heavy lifting of garments or laundry loads while maintaining proper posture to prevent injury. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
