Bakery Clerks prepare, bake, package, price, and merchandise our freshly baked goods. They ensure the quality, correct pricing and display of our products and provide excellent customer service. Bakery Clerks take special orders and questions from customers in person or over the phone, so accuracy and strong communication is a must. They inform customers about our bakery products and services, such as decorated cakes or catering, to increase sales. This position may also include training with and assisting the Lead Cake Decorator in preparing and decorating cakes, cookies, and other baked goods. The ideal candidate will be accurate, efficient, and follow all Company policies and procedures, including those regarding Food Safety. Bakery Clerks operate equipment like mixers, ovens, proofers, fryers, slicers and scales safely and efficiently. There is occasional exposure to both high temperatures from the ovens and low temperatures from the coolers and freezers. Bakery clerks must be flexible and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Morning Availability:

Bakery shift is normally 4am to 12pm with an every other weekend rotation for full time. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Must be able to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Bakery experience preferred but will train the right candidate. Food safety certification a plus.
