Responsibilities Lead the café team in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring every guest feels valued and satisfied Prepare a variety of beverages including coffee, smoothies, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Oversee daily operations such as processing retail sales transactions using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and sanitation practices in compliance with food safety standards Manage cash handling duties accurately, including processing cash transactions and balancing registers at shift end Support team members in food preparation tasks, ensuring quality standards are met consistently Train new staff on beverage preparation techniques, POS operation, food safety protocols, and customer service excellence Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of beverages, ingredients, and supplies to prevent shortages Foster a positive team environment through effective time management, communication, and leadership Requirements Proven experience as a barista or in café/food service environments with a strong knowledge of beverage preparation and serving techniques Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Strong math skills for cash handling, inventory monitoring, and basic calculations during sales processes Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Previous experience with beverage service, drink preparation, or smoothie-making is highly preferred Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable café experiences!
