Part-Time / Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Front Desk Associate/Barista to join our team! As the face of our cupcakery, you will create a warm, welcoming environment for every guest, help customers select their favorite treats, handle payments, and maintain an inviting, clean front-of-house experience.

Key Responsibilities Guest Experience:

Greet customers warmly, assist with product selection, and provide detailed information about cupcake flavors, custom orders, and beverage offerings.

Beverage & Espresso Preparation:

Prepare espresso drinks, lattes, specialty teas, and cold beverages to order following recipe standards.

Order Management:

Take walk-in, phone, and pre-orders accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system; handle cash and card transactions efficiently.

Merchandising & Display:

Keep display cases fully stocked, beautifully arranged, and labeled throughout the day.

Custom Orders & Catering:

Coordinate pre-ordered custom cupcakes, party boxes, and catering pickups with the baking team.

Cleanliness & Maintenance:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the front seating area, counter space, and guest restroom.

Inventory Monitoring:

Track front-of-house packaging supplies (boxes, bags, napkins, ribbons) and report restock needs. Qualifications & Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude. Previous experience in retail, food service, or hospitality is preferred (passion for baking/desserts is a major plus!). Ability to operate a POS system, handle basic math, and manage transactions accurately. High attention to detail in presentation and cleanliness. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (boxes of supplies or ingredients). Flexible availability, including weekends, morning shifts, or early evenings as needed.
