The Barista will provide excellent customer service, prepare quality beverages and food, and maintain a clean, welcoming, and efficient environment. Essential Duties Prepare coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and food items according to established standards. Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service. Accurately process orders and payments using POS systems. Handle cash and other payment methods according to company procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked work and customer areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and product handling requirements. Assist with stocking, food preparation, opening, and closing duties. Address customer concerns professionally and notify management when necessary. Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service. Follow company policies, procedures, and service standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous barista, restaurant, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Ability to learn beverage preparation and POS systems. Ability to follow food safety and company procedures. Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one, where required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry. Ability to lift up to 25-40 pounds , as required. Ability to work around hot beverages, equipment, cleaning products, and food preparation areas. Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
