The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring customer satisfaction through service. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages. Engage in sales activities to promote menu items and enhance customer experience. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and ensure accurate cash handling. Requirements Previous barista experience or background in the coffee industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques. Basic math skills for cashiering duties and retail math applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
