Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and presentation standards Operate POS system retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling surfaces, equipment, and seating areas in compliance with food safety regulations Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, and give correct change using POS systems Restock supplies, ingredients, and utensils as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Follow food industry standards for food preparation, beverage service, and drink presentation while adhering to health and safety guidelines Skills Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service techniques Familiarity with POS systems for retail transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and proper cleaning procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Ability to work flexible hours including weekends in a fast-paced environment Join our team to bring your strong sense of community to every shift!
