Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety guidelines. Handle cash transactions with precision, processing payments and giving correct change while balancing cash drawers at shift end. Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, ensuring all food safety standards are followed diligently. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without sacrificing quality or friendliness. Experience Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS confidently. Strong skills in retail math and cash handling to ensure accurate transactions. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for processing payments and managing register operations confidently.
