New Bedford is a from-scratch, artisan French-inspired bakery / cafe featuring pastry, bread, sandwiches and coffee.

Our hospitality is second to none and we always strive to deliver our product with a smile and efficiency! We are seeking someone to join our front team as a

FRONT COUNTER / BARISTA.

This position is responsible for the following duties:

THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION AVAILABLE

WEDS-SUN, Weekends and early mornings required.

opening the store (brew coffee, display pastries, organize sheet pans, package special orders)
run the shift (keep pastry case stocked, enter orders into the POS and handle credit / cash transactions
make espresso based drinks, pour coffee and teas, toast bagels/breads, help where needed
closing the store (cleaning, making sure the front is well stocked for the next day, communicate with management, sweeping and mopping) We have found in the past that we are looking for the following qualifications:
early morning person with reliable transportation
experience in food service is preferred, will train the right candidate
a great attitude that is always guest
focused
willingness to learn our way of doing things
always be smiling and welcoming guests into our bakery
ability to work well alongside teammates, be part of a growing team
able to thrive in fast paced environment.

..we are BUSY!! This position is a min wage

PART TIME

position with tips. Shifts begin at 6am on weekdays and 7am on weekends and end by 3pm. Did we mention free coffee, working with the best pastry and freshest bread, and being in the heart of downtown New Bedford?
