We're opening our second location in North Attleboro, bringing Ally's Cookies and Doglio Coffee together under one roof . We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Baker & Barista who is comfortable working both in our bakery and with customers at our coffee bar. This is a hands-on, hybrid position that combines baking, coffee preparation, and customer service. You may spend part of your shift baking cookies, preparing dough and pastries, and packaging products, and another part preparing coffee and espresso drinks, assisting customers, and helping keep the store running smoothly. We're a small team, so everyone helps wherever needed. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and is equally comfortable baking a batch of cookies, making a latte, washing dishes, or helping a customer. What You'll Do Baking & Bakery Production Bake Ally's Cookies according to our recipes and standards. Prepare and mix our signature cookie dough. Prepare pastries, muffins, scones, and other baked items. Portion dough and prepare products for baking. Bag, label, and package cookies and other baked goods. Monitor product levels and communicate what needs to be baked or replenished. Restock ingredients, packaging, and bakery supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. Wash dishes, utensils, baking equipment, and other kitchen items. Follow recipes, production standards, food safety, and sanitation procedures. Barista & Customer Service Prepare hot and iced espresso drinks, lattes, cold brew, and specialty beverages. Properly pull espresso shots and steam milk. Maintain drink quality and consistency, including during busy periods. Learn our Doglio Coffee offerings and help customers with selections and recommendations. Take customer orders and operate our Square point-of-sale system. Assist customers with cookie and bakery selections. Restock milk, coffee, syrups, cups, and other bar supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee bar and front-of-house area. Provide friendly, efficient customer service. Assist wherever needed to keep the bakery and café running smoothly. Mobile Coffee & Cookie Events Occasionally, you may also have the opportunity to work on one of our mobile coffee or cookie units at farmers markets, festivals, sporting events, corporate events, and private functions. What We're Looking For Prior barista, bakery, kitchen, café, or food-service experience preferred. Experience preparing espresso drinks and steaming milk is a plus. Dependable, punctual, friendly, and comfortable working with customers. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Willing to help with baking, customer service, cleaning, dishes, restocking, and other duties as needed. Able to stand for extended periods and lift over 50 pounds. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Year-round and weekend availability required. ServSafe® certification is a plus. Must successfully pass a background check.
