Our goal is to create a welcoming space where guests can enjoy unique single-origin coffee, quality food, and genuine connections. As a founding Barista of our team, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the guest experience from day one. We're looking for friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic people who enjoy working with others, take pride in their work, and are passionate about creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors. About the Role As a Barista, you'll be at the heart of the cafe experience. You'll craft high-quality beverages, prepare food items, engage with guests, and help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're making the perfect espresso drink, recommending a favorite menu item, or ensuring the cafe looks its best, your attention to detail and positive energy will make a difference every day. Hourly rate starts at $16 per hour plus tips. Responsibilities Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, teas, and other beverage items. Handles food according to safety and sanitation standards for quality food service operations. Prepare food items such as sandwiches, bagels, muffins, pastries, and other menu offerings Welcome guests with a friendly attitude and provide exceptional customer service Share menu knowledge, answer questions, and make thoughtful recommendations, including allergen information when needed Deliver food and beverages promptly through both counter and table service Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout your shift Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas in accordance with food safety standards Monitor temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and warming equipment to ensure proper operation Assist with opening and closing responsibilities, inventory stocking, and general cafe upkeep Work collaboratively with teammates to create a positive, efficient, and supportive environment What We're Looking For Previous barista or cafe experience is strongly preferred Passion for coffee, food, hospitality, and creating great guest experiences Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and food safety practices Comfort with basic math and point-of-sale systems Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute wherever needed Why Join Us?
