Duties Barista shift operations by coordinating team activities and ensuring efficient service delivery Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, maintaining high quality standards Oversee retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and processing payments Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols Support team members in food preparation, beverage service, and drink presentation to deliver an outstanding customer experience Manage cash register functions including processing cash transactions and balancing tills at the end of each shift Train and mentor team members on food safety practices, beverage preparation, and customer service excellence Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage service Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and balancing registers accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Leadership qualities to motivate team members, delegate tasks effectively, and support a collaborative work environment Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for coffee meets your leadership talents!
