Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas by following food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and give correct change using cash handling best practices. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including food handling and beverage assembly to meet quality standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards. Requirements Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and beverage preparation techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing sales accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and perform cleaning duties as required.
