Barista Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as espresso, latte, and cappuccino
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area
• Follow food safety procedures to ensure quality and freshness of products
• Assist in food preparation as needed

Requirements:

• Experience working with coffee or in a similar role preferred
• Strong math skills for cash handling and basic calculations
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
• Knowledge of retail math for inventory management
• Understanding of basic math principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to handle and take care of cats if needed, as this is a Cat Cafe.
• cleaning and prepping the cat room prior to opening.
