Bean & Vine Cafe located in Lake Lotawana is a coffee & wine bar with a full scratch kitchen focusing on bagels & pizza. Serving wine, flights, craft cocktails & mocktails in a casual boho environment with an outside patio filled with warm lights and greenery. We do live jazz music during the weekends & monthly paint & sip events on Wednesdays. We're looking to fill: 1 to 2 Barista/Bartende r postions. (Must be 21 to barista/bartend) Bartenders & Baristas are cross trained on both areas.

Looking for fill:

Saturday morning 8am-2pm. Thursday, Friday & Saturday 6:45am-2pm and occasional pick up shifts available 1 to 2 Server postions. (Must be 18 years of age or older to serve alcohol) Wednesday-Saturday 2/4pm-8/9pm Saturday & Sunday 8am-1pm 1 FOH Food Runner/To-Go Attendant for online orders (15 years of age or older) - Must have Saturday & Sunday availability 8am-12pm. Will train the right person on barista & bartending but must have previous restaurtant experience & ~AMAZING~ customer service, an eye for presentation and a sense of urgency with the ability to multitask multiple orders.

Barista/Bartender Role:

Opening/closing by yourself (with boh/kitchen staff) Must be self managing. Ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly with customer satisfaction being 1#. Resolve any conflict that may arise, oversee and ensure quality, cleanliness of workstations and overall standards are being implemented. Prepare coffee area & bar prior to shift by prepping milks, garnishes and juices needed. Stocking as needed. Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including martinis, craft cocktails, beer, wine, champagne, hot coffees, iced coffees, espresso, fresh juices, blended smoothies and teas by recipe. Prepare and serve quick food items such as macaroons and ice cream. Maintain clean, stocked stations and front of the house tables and patio areas. Quickly greeting guests in a warm, welcoming and friendly manner. Educate guests on all menu items, make recommendations and communicate customer feedback to manager. Promote upselling and add-ons. Rings in transactions accurately in the Toast system. Serve, prepare and deliver food and drinks to bar, table or counter. Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must be outgoing, warm and friendly. Smiling is a reqiurement & part of the uniform. Must have excellent communication skills as the server or bartender/barista is FOH and first point of contact for customers. Positive and friendly demeanor. Must be able to work independently or in a team environment & self manage during shifts. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure of multiple orders during rushes. Food handlers card required.

SERVERS $8/HOUR

PLUS TIPS BARISTA/BARTENDER

$10/HOUR

PLUS TIPS TIPS AVERAGE

$50-$250 PER

SHIFT - WEEKLY PAY, EVERY FRIDAY.
