You will ensure the cleanliness and organization of the café environment, process retail sales transactions efficiently using POS systems, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and math calculations. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, dining areas, and overall café environment in accordance with food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation. Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food preparation, drink service, and general café duties to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
