Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and flair. Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or special requests. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas in accordance with food safety standards. Handle cash transactions confidently, process payments accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high service standards. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential! Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
