Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately Serve food items and beverages with enthusiasm, ensuring timely delivery and presentation that delights customers Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, equipment sanitation, and adhering to food safety standards Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide outstanding customer service Manage cash handling procedures, process cash transactions accurately, and balance registers at shift end Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards and safety guidelines Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus Experience using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros enhances efficiency in processing sales Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions confidently Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques to ensure compliance with health regulations Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards Retail sales experience that demonstrates an ability to upsell products and contribute to store goals Join us in creating a lively café environment where every cup served fuels positive interactions!
