Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including expertly crafted lattes with intricate latte art designs. Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and balance cash registers at shift end. Assist in food handling and beverage preparation, ensuring all products meet quality standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality drink presentation. Experience Previous barista experience with a strong focus on latte art and beverage presentation. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced food or café environment. Experience in non-alcoholic beverage preparation, including coffee brewing and drink service. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and basic math skills for cash handling. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Background in retail sales transactions within the food industry is a plus.
