Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Transactions :

Greet customers warmly, provide exceptional hospitality, and take orders accurately using our Square POS system. Handle cash and card transactions efficiently while utilizing basic math skills for cash handling and making change accurately.

Beverage Preparation :

Craft high-quality hot and cold espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to recipe standards.

Food Service & Safety :

Assist in preparing, warming, and serving pastries and other food items while strictly adhering to proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards.

Cleanliness & Maintenance :

Keep the front-of-house, counter, seating area, and workstation clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift.

Time Management & Efficiency :

Stay calm and manage your time effectively during peak rushes to prioritize duties, multitask, and serve customers quickly without compromising the quality of food and drinks.

Team Support :

Work collaboratively with team members, communicating clearly and positively, and support opening and closing tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements & Qualifications Experience :

Previous barista or food service experience is preferred; familiarity with cafe environments is a plus.

Systems :

Ideally, candidates will be familiar with the Square payment system (or similar POS platforms).

Communication :

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with customers and team members.

Math Skills :

Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and processing transactions.

Food Safety :

Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards.

Pace & Multitasking :

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Time Management :

Excellent time management skills to prioritize duties during peak hours and ensure timely service delivery.

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
