Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Complete opening or closing checklist (equipment power-on/off, register float/reconciliation, restocking, cleaning) Prepare espresso drinks, pour-over, batch brew, and food/pastry items to recipe standard Operate POS; handle cash and card transactions accurately Greet and serve guests with prompt, friendly service; answer menu questions Maintain cleanliness of bar, dining area, and restrooms throughout shift Monitor inventory levels and flag low stock to Cafe Manager Follow food safety and health code standards at all times (Closing only) Reconcile register drawer, prepare nightly deposit, deep-clean, lock up and set alarm About the role: Join the team at The Record Press, a café by day and a listening room by night, opening soon in Leesburg, VA. Baristas are part of a rotating 7-day schedule with overlapping opening/closing shifts to keep the café running smoothly from 8 AM-4 PM daily.

Pay:

$16.50 - $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 28.0 per week
