We are looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated Baristas who enjoy working with people and thrive in a busy team environment. As a Diedrich Espresso Barista, you'll be responsible for creating quality drinks, providing fast and friendly customer service, and helping keep your stand clean, organized, and running smoothly. Our Baristas play a huge part in creating the welcoming experience our customers have come to expect from Diedrich. Duties Prepare and serve espresso drinks, blended beverages, teas, energy drinks, and other menu items according to Diedrich Espresso standards. Provide friendly, efficient customer service while building relationships with our regular customers. Take customer orders accurately and operate our point-of-sale (POS) system for order processing and payment handling. Work efficiently in a fast-paced drive-thru environment while maintaining drink quality and accuracy. Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and company procedures to ensure consistency. Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized stand throughout each shift. Complete opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and shift responsibilities as assigned. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures. Communicate and work closely with other Baristas and management to keep shifts running smoothly. Help create a positive, supportive, and team-focused work environment. Follow Diedrich Espresso policies, procedures, and customer service expectations. Qualifications & Experience Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have a valid driver's license. At least 6 months of previous barista, coffee, food service, or similar fast-paced customer service experience preferred. Must have availability to work weekends and holidays. Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Experience using a POS system is helpful, but specific system experience is not required. Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Why Work at Diedrich Espresso?
