This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and food service, with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Must be available weekends. Minimum wage plus tips. 4 shifts a week + coverage. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Utilize POS or other point-of-sale systems to process orders efficiently. Prepare and serve coffee and food items according to established standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including dining spaces and workstations. Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed. Engage with customers to promote menu items and special offers, enhancing their overall experience. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory tracking. Requirements 1 year experince required. Must be 18+. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Clover, is desirable. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. A passion for coffee and food service, along with a willingness to learn about menu offerings. Must be available to work weekends.
