Literatus & Co., is looking for a Part-Time Hourly OR Full-Time Salary Barista. This is an entry level position designed around the person seeking to develop a career in either Retail or Restaurant Management. As a Barista you will be dedicated to our Cafe Department, helping deliver the finest quality products and services to our customers. Success in this role will lead to Assistant Manager with longer-term prospects of moving into Department Manager and General Management. The successful candidate for this position will be mature-minded, with a strong, entrepreneurial, sense of personal self-responsibility and initiative. They will be people-oriented and enjoy a high degree of social interaction, as well as a physically active workspace. They will actively seek opportunities to grow their career through increased training, and role responsibility. Solutions oriented, they will assist the Café Manager in developing new procedures and processes to make our service more customer engaging and efficient. Responsibilities Serve customers throughout the store while modeling Literatus & Co.,s culture and providing "best in class" customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, delighting and thanking every guest for their business Provide consistent, timely and friendly customer service when answering questions, making suggestions and resolving complaints Manage all areas of the cafe, consistently leading and learning by example Maintain store conditions including, but not limited to, ensuring perishables are full and fresh, proper sanitation standards are adhered to, drinks and food is properly prepared with an emphasis on quality, and maintaining the general look and cleanliness of all areas of the store. Responsible for the opening and closing duties of the store as needed. Assist with receiving and stocking daily deliveries as needed Help create attractive department displays and end caps based on specific sales for the week Assist with inventory per the direction of the Store Manager Assist with store promotional sales events as needed Assist with the training and mentoring of new associates throughout the store Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures Assist with all other store duties as needed Requirements Must be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of store equipment Prior experience with food handling and cooking, preferably in a restaurant setting Eagerness to interact with customers Strong sense of team - ability to anticipate the needs of the team Ability to work at a fast paced and efficient manner Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions, priorities and circumstances Ability to maintain composure, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Strong computer skills, working knowledge in Microsoft Office product suite and Google Products Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests by combining your passion for coffee, excellent service skills, and energetic attitude. Pay:

$26,000.00 - $28,000.00 per year
