Calaveras Blvd., Milpitas, CA 95035 About Us Barcelona Restaurant & Bar is a full-service restaurant and bar in Milpitas offering globally inspired fusion cuisine, creative cocktails, happy hour, private events, corporate gatherings, and a lively dining and bar experience. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and guest-focused Bartender to join our team. What You'll Do Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and consistently. Provide friendly, professional, and engaging service to bar and restaurant guests. Learn our cocktail, food, wine, and beer menus and confidently make recommendations. Handle high-volume drink orders efficiently during dinner, happy hour, weekends, and private events. Maintain proper drink portions, presentation, recipes, and quality standards. Check identification and follow California responsible alcohol-service requirements. Process orders and payments accurately through the POS system. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar. Complete opening, closing, stocking, and side-work responsibilities. Monitor liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies and communicate inventory needs. Minimize waste and follow proper liquor-control procedures. Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, hosts, and management. Support private parties, corporate events, happy hours, and special events. Help create a welcoming bar atmosphere that encourages repeat customers. What We're Looking For 2+ years of bartending experience preferred. Full-service restaurant/bar experience strongly preferred. Good knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine. Strong guest-service and communication skills. Friendly, outgoing, professional, and dependable. Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy shifts. Experience with restaurant POS systems and payment handling. California RBS certification required or ability to obtain it as required. Ability to perform normal bartender duties, including standing for extended periods and moving bar supplies. Evening and weekend availability strongly preferred. Experience creating specialty or fusion cocktails using ingredients such as mango, ginger, tamarind, chili, cardamom, herbs, and tropical flavors is a plus.
Compensation & Schedule Pay:
$19
- 23 per hour + tips , depending on experience and qualifications.
