• Key Responsibilities Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests Interacts with guests, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks Assesses guest needs and preferences, making thoughtful recommendations Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails with consistency and care Checks guest identification to confirm legal drinking age Restocks and replenishes bar inventory and supplies Maintains complete knowledge of the dining room/bar menu, wine-by-glass program, beer selection, and liquors Uses the POS system efficiently and handles cash responsibly Maximizes revenue through proper selling techniques while staying guest-focused Keeps all bar areas clean, organized, and presentable, adhering to side-work requirements Complies with all food and beverage regulations Skills, Knowledge and Requirements Proven working experience as a bartender Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Relevant bartending or alcohol service training certificate Prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and service items Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling Able to lift, push or pull equipment, chemicals, tools, supplies up to 40 lbs.
