Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits. Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast and process payments efficiently. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to the creation of seasonal or signature cocktails that excite our clientele. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; place orders as needed to ensure stock availability. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in casual fine dining or casual dining, or hospitality settings with a strong focus on mixology and beverage presentation. Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, cocktail recipes, and brewing processes. Proficiency in POS systems such as Toast POS, cash handling experience required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Food safety certification and knowledge of sanitation standards within the food industry. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Ability to perform basic math calculations for billing, tips, and inventory management accurately.
