Job Description

Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club, located in Lehigh Acres, FL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Tiki Bar Bartender ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation :
$13.00 hourly, plus tips Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, and maintain inventory records. Assist department leaders with the creation of seasonal cocktails and the development of the menu. Maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed. Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management. Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager. Perform opening and closing duties, which include, but are not limited to, inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking. Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize the Point-of-Sale system. Review banquet schedule for changes, special events, and calendar updates. Serve catered parties from service or portable bars. On occasion, serve meals to guests. Incorporate safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., POSITOUCH and MICROS). Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, tastes, smells, and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds. SERV Safe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent. Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and current trends in the industry and marketplace. Knowledge of cocktail recipes. Professional and courteous demeanor. Demonstrates a strong commitment to company values. Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, clients, and vendors. Fluent in spoken, written, and comprehended English. Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
