As a key leader behind the bar, you will oversee daily operations, craft exceptional cocktails, and ensure the highest standards of customer service. Your expertise in beverage preparation, bar management, and team leadership will drive the success of our vibrant hospitality environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology skills, manage bar staff, and contribute to a lively, energetic atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more. Duties Lead and supervise the bartending team to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced setting. Develop and refine beverage recipes, including cocktails, wine pairings, craft beers, and spirits to enhance menu offerings. Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; handle cash handling with precision. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times. Provide training and mentorship to bartenders on mixology techniques, beverage presentation, and customer engagement. Collaborate with kitchen staff on food and beverage pairing options for special events or banquets. Manage guest interactions professionally, addressing concerns promptly to ensure an exceptional experience. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to boost revenue through upselling and promotions. Maintain a lively atmosphere by engaging guests with knowledge of spirits, brewing processes, wine varieties, and cocktail trends. Experience Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail crafting skills; fine dining or nightclub experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership abilities in a bar or restaurant setting; previous bar management experience is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in processing transactions accurately. Deep understanding of beverage recipe development, mixology techniques, wine knowledge, craft beer trends, and spirits expertise. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Experience working in diverse hospitality environments including food service establishments, banquet settings, or catering events. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service standards. Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales, inventory counts, and cash handling procedures.
