Part-Time Bartender / Server Pete's Bar & Grill is looking for dependable, friendly bartenders/servers to join our team in Albers, IL. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. We are looking to fill a couple of part-time positions: One person primarily available for nights and weekends One person with a flexible schedule who can work 1-2 daytime shifts during the week starting at 10:30am , along with some nights and weekends Our bartenders also wait on tables, so this position includes taking care of both bar customers and dining tables throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include:

Providing friendly and attentive service to bar customers and tables Taking food and drink orders and entering them accurately into the POS system Preparing and serving beer, mixed drinks, shots, and other beverages Serving food and checking on customers throughout their meal Handling cash and credit card transactions Keeping the bar, tables, and surrounding areas clean and organized Keeping beer, liquor, mixers, and other supplies stocked Checking identification and following all alcohol service requirements Working with cooks and other staff to keep service running smoothly Completing opening and closing duties as assigned What we're looking for: Must be 21 years of age or older Dependable and able to show up on time for scheduled shifts Friendly and comfortable working with customers Able to handle multiple tables and bar customers at the same time Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Willing to help out and work as part of a team Night and weekend availability For the daytime position, availability to start at 10:30am 1-2 weekdays per week Previous bartending or serving experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

Schedule:

This is a part-time position with hours varying based on availability and business needs. Night and weekend availability is important. We also need someone who can work 1-2 daytime shifts during the week beginning at 10:30am.
