Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment efficiently. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and communicating needs to management. Develop innovative beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to ensure safety. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality industry settings; cocktail experience and mixology skills are essential. Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple orders simultaneously. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Previous experience with food service or restaurant operations is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
