Lead Bartender/ Tap House Manager Full-Time | South Elgin, IL We're looking for someone who wants to build something. Raptor Tap House is hiring a Full-Time Bar Manager / Lead Bartender. This isn't just another bartending job. Raptor Tap House is a young, independent tap house in South Elgin with a great foundation, a growing customer base, and a lot of room to grow. The owner is looking to step away from the day-to-day operation of the bar, and we're looking for someone who wants to step up and take the lead. We're looking for someone who wants to come in, learn the business, bring their ideas, build a team, create events, grow the customer base, and ultimately have a major hand in determining what Raptor Tap House becomes.

THIS IS FOR YOU

IF... You walk into a bar and immediately start thinking: How can we sell more? What event would bring people in? How can we get more people talking about this place? Who can we partner with in the community? What could we do differently? And when something isn't working, your first thought isn't, "That's not my job." It's, "How do we fix it?"

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and growth of Raptor Tap House, including: Lead and manage the bar team Create schedules and manage shifts Bartend and interact with customers Manage beer and beverage inventory Work with distributors and vendors Develop specials, promotions, and events Help grow sales and customer traffic Build relationships with local breweries and businesses Manage and grow our social media presence Train and develop staff Maintain the atmosphere, cleanliness, and standards of the bar Find opportunities to improve the business Take ownership of problems and find solutions Help make Raptor Tap House a place people want to come back to

Experience behind the bar is important. But personality, initiative, and drive are just as important. Raptor Tap House is an independent business. That means you're not going to be handed a corporate playbook and told exactly what to do. The owner will provide support and handle the accounting, payroll, and major financial and ownership responsibilities. Your job is to make the bar great. And as Raptor grows, we want the person responsible for that growth to benefit from it. We're looking for someone who wants to look back a year or two from now and say: "I helped build this." Pay:

From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
