The Raw Bar at Island Creek Oyster Farm is our beautiful scenic patio and indoor dining space on Duxbury Bay. Home to our oyster farm and an outdoor destination location serving the oysters we grow, craft beer, great wine and a whole lot more all in a casual environment steps from the water. This is, and will continue to be, the anchor point for welcoming guests onto our farm property and introducing them to the Island Creek way of life. Back of House roles report directly to the Sous Chef.

THE ROLE

Complete daily food preparation for all existing recipes Maintaining knowledge of new and current menu offerings, including but not limited to shellfish, seafood, tins, sauces and specials Ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction by being a great team player Make pickles and sauces, chop herbs and produce, arrange great looking tin platters Assisting the Sous Chef with cooking and prep for summer specials Learn and display knife skills Follow all established food safety guidelines Take allergens seriously, communicating effectively Maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for both coworkers and customers Manage guest tickets with efficiency as part of the truck team

REQUIREMENTS

Availability to work flexible shifts; Must be available for nights and weekends A friendly and hospitality driven personality Ability to work independently Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a positive attitude Familiarity with inventory procedures Ability to execute a recipe, basic culinary skills; shucking skills a plus Open to learning new skills Previous restaurant or hospitality experience a plus
