We serve fairgoers a variety of canned beers, wine, seltzers, and beverages on tap in a lively outdoor environment. Working at Backyard Cantina is fast-paced and social. Our team works together to keep the bar running smoothly while providing friendly, efficient service to our guests. Because we are located at a major fair, employees should be comfortable working in a busy environment, communicating with coworkers, and staying positive throughout a long shift. Every employee is expected to:

Be on time and ready to work at the scheduled start time. Be respectful to guests, coworkers, and management. Provide friendly and professional customer service. Keep your work area clean and organized throughout your shift. Stay organized and pay attention to what needs to be done. Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors. Work efficiently and maintain a strong work ethic, even during busy periods. Pay attention to your surroundings and help your team when needed. Follow all alcohol-service laws and company policies. Never serve alcohol to an underage or visibly intoxicated guest. Limit personal phone use while working. Be a team player — jump in and help wherever you are needed. Take responsibility for your work and ask questions when you are unsure. Represent Backyard Cantina positively — your attitude and professionalism matter.
