POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitates an event bar service for all beverages by:

Unloading, arranging, cleaning, and restocking bar equipment, ice, and glassware before, during, and after eventsPreparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including beer, wine, and mixed drinks, according to recipe standardsGreeting guests warmly, taking orders, making recommendations, and providing fast, polite serviceChecking identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated guests, ensuring compliance with all local laws and company regulationsMonitoring stock levels behind the bar, restock supplies, and handle cash/credit card transactions using POS systemsBeing knowledgeable of and keeps up on the latest beverage recipesHandling cash and credit cards, takes responsibility for end of shift cash/credit dropReporting any impaired behavior or guest issues to the event supervisorStaying focused on the overall event beverage consumption and makes intelligent decisions regarding serving alcoholEnsures the highest level of Customer Satisfaction by:

Interacting and filling customer requestsWorking well with the other team members to deliver the ultimate guest experienceListening to special requests and filling the request as neededExecuting the event to the highest standard, acting quickly to fix issues that may ariseMaintaining a professional presence in front of staff and guests at all timesEnsuring that tasks and requests are completed with the proper level of urgencyWorking seamlessly with a team of event professionals and assists in catering as needed to ensure guest satisfactionAdheres to the highest level of quality, service and cleanliness by:

Arriving to a shift on time and in uniformKeeping all equipment clean and tidy during an event and after an eventUsing safe standards of food and beverage serviceFollowing all opening and closing procedures as outlined by bar coordinator, supervisor

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or GED equivalent is requiredSome bartending experience requiredTIPS, RServing or equivalent certificationAbility to pass a background check

SCHEDULE

Per Diem position with flexible scheduling required; days, nights and weekends required.
