Job Overview We're on the lookout for a lively and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the face of our bar, creating memorable experiences for guests through expertly crafted drinks and exceptional service. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, knowledgeable about a wide range of beverages, and eager to engage with diverse customers in a dynamic environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options and ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and card payments efficiently. Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, tracking usage, and reporting shortages to ensure smooth operations. Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep our offerings fresh and exciting. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours or special events like banquets or nightclubs. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and brewing processes. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently. Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts without compromising quality. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing food safety standards. Experience in food service or restaurant environments, including catering or banquet settings, is a plus.
