Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks accordingly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibilities efficiently. Manage multiple tasks effectively through excellent time management skills during busy service periods. Develop creative beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance guest experiences. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during events such as banquets or catering functions. Experience Proven experience in bartending within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently. Previous food service experience including serving guests and food handling practices. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Experience working in fine dining settings or catering environments is preferred but not required.
