Overview Join the Tasca Madrid opening team. We are looking for a Dishwasher/ Foodrunner / Busser that will be a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, support food safety protocols, and assist with food service operations. Duties Responsible for thorough dishwashing using commercial equipment, ensuring all utensils, cookware, and dishware are sanitized according to food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping, ingredient setup, and maintaining prep stations in accordance with food safety management standards. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly, resetting dining areas efficiently, and ensuring guest spaces remain clean and inviting. Follow sanitation protocols to maintain kitchen health and safety standards, including proper manual handling of heavy items and safe operation of kitchen equipment. Help with food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards during service periods, including proper storage and disposal of waste. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service times while adhering to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness of all work areas through regular cleaning routines, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in compliance with restaurant sanitation standards. Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn and help in any department is essential! Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, sanitation practices, and kitchen health standards is highly valued. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy items such as pots or boxes of supplies. Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment like dishwashers or cleaning tools is advantageous. Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the shift. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues during high-pressure periods. Basic knife skills or catering experience are a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
