Responsibilities Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage recipes, including signature cocktails and seasonal specials, and develop new drink ideas to excite patrons Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process cash and card transactions efficiently Ensure all food handling and beverage preparation adhere to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Manage bar inventory, restock supplies promptly, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bar operations during busy hours and special events like banquets or nightclub nights Qualifications Proven experience in bartending or food service within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or nightlife settings Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Experience in bar management or supervising bar staff is a plus but not required Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding career where your creativity meets hospitality excellence!
