Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring prompt and friendly service Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, upsell menu items, and enhance their overall experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments, and manage tabs efficiently using POS systems Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu innovation by sharing creative ideas with management Assist in bar management tasks during busy shifts, including stock replenishment and inventory checks Requirements Proven experience in bartending, serving, or food service within a hospitality environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; ability to process cash handling and cashiering tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously during peak hours Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and cash handling Join us if you're passionate about creating lively atmospheres where guests feel welcomed and valued!
