Bartender - HoppyTales About the Role We're looking for an energetic, skilled bartender to join our taproom team. You'll be the face of our bar — crafting exceptional cocktails, keeping the taps flowing, and delivering an experience that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Craft and serve cocktails, beers, and other beverages with consistency and attention to detail Manage and maintain draft beer taps, including line maintenance, keg changes, and ensuring proper pour quality Operate the POS system accurately for order entry, payment processing, and end-of-shift reconciliation Monitor and manage bar inventory, including tracking stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste Provide friendly, attentive service while maintaining a welcoming taproom atmosphere Check identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local regulations Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure a seamless guest experience What We're Looking For 2+ years of bartending experience, preferably in a taproom, craft beer, or cocktail-focused environment Solid knowledge of cocktail techniques, spirits, beer styles, and draft systems Comfortable and confident using POS systems Experience with inventory management and basic stock control Strong multitasking skills — you can handle a busy bar without missing a beat Excellent communication and customer service skills What We Offer Competitive hourly wage plus tips A fun, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to contribute to cocktail menu development
